LOCOMOTION project is part of the “Science for climate action: EU research contribution to IPCC working group III on mitigation” document joint other EU funded projects. This document tries to reflect the effort of the European Union financing projects to understand and help mitigate climate change by reducing its effects and creating awareness of both concepts in society. As the document explain, the European Union is among the top funders of the evidence base underpinning the IPCC reports, contributing to improving the effectiveness of both national and international climate policies and processes, and building public support for more ambitious climate action.
