LOCOMOTION participated in the poster session of the annual EMP-E 2021 Conference: Re-Energising Sustainable Transitions in Europe, Energy System Modelling, Methods & Results to support the European Green Deal. The event was held online between 26-28 October 2021 with an aim to bring together the energy modelling community and be a forum for exchange among researchers and modelling teams from across Europe; from H2020 projects, representatives of the European Commission, as well as partners from industry and civil society.
Our colleagues from CRES submitted a poster in the poster session of Conference entitled “Assessment of the global wind energy potential considering technical and sustainability boundaries”. The poster presented the approach followed in LOCOMOTION in the assessment of the global wind energy potential and the main results. The poster can be accessed here.
