An article entitled “The renewable revolution cannot occur with limitless growth, experts warn” written by our LOCOMOTION’S colleague Khaled Diab (EEB) has been published in Meta on 3 December 2019.
The article presents the important role of renewable energy and the related environmental issues and limits, which are going to be modelled in LOCOMOTION project.
“Given the impacts of generating any type of energy, and the competition of renewables with the flows used by the biosphere to function, we should find the lowest energy consumption which maximises our well-being.”
